Born and raised in Victoria, Sophie is delighted to call this city home. She completed her dental prerequisite courses at the University of Victoria before pursuing her dentistry degree at the University of British Columbia. Sophie is a proud recipient of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Achievement Award, recognizing her special interest and accomplishments in oral and maxillofacial radiology.

Before returning to Victoria, Sophie practiced dentistry in the rural town of Houston, BC. As the sole dental clinic in Houston, the facility serves many small, remote communities in northern BC, allowing Sophie to provide essential dental care to those in need.

Sophie strongly values gentle dentistry, placing empathy, kindness, and thorough evaluation at the center of her care. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner. Her practice philosophy focuses on making the dental chair a comfortable and successful place for you.

Committed to continuous learning, Sophie has expanded her practice through continuing education. She holds additional qualifications in several areas, including neuromodulation therapy using Botox (for both therapeutic and aesthetic purposes), Invisalign, and Nitrous Oxide sedation (laughing gas).

Outside the clinic, Sophie enjoys baking intricate desserts, walking the Lochside Trail, and spending time with her family.
